Fruit Trees
Fruiting trees are often planted in urban gardens in small numbers. These include mango, guava, litchi, water apple, and several others. These plants can also provide a small canopy that can beautify a garden. Coconut palms are also used in urban garden. Beware that large trees have strong root systems that can penetrate water pipe lines and break sump walls. Unless there is atleast 10-20 feet of place around the trees, do not plant them. Please check the area requirements before planting the trees. Large trees also tend to block sun light completely and can reduce overall temperature of the shaded parts of building.
